Vacancy – Cycling Development Officer x3
Cycling Development Officer – based in Liverpool, diagnosis Southampton and Birmingham – £24,000pa (3 posts available) – Immediate start required if possible.
CTC, the national cycling charity believes that cycling should be accessible to all and delivers cycling opportunities to diverse communities all over the UK. With over 50,000 people benefiting from our community programmes each year, we are recruiting Cycling Development Officers to help deliver and drive forward our Community Clubs and Big Bike Revival programmes this year.
As a Development Officer you will work with local community organisations to support and set-up cycling activities. You will drive ambitious local targets for the set-up and support of Community Cycling Clubs as well as support other national programme events as part of CTC’s Big Bike Revival and Bike Week.
You will ideally have experience within the charity sector, sports development and/or community development with an interest in cycling. You will be driven and well organised with strong project management skills and able to work with diverse organisations and individuals within the community.
This post will be a full time fixed term contract until October 2016 with a view to extension. The successful applicants will be office based with a local authority in their respective location.
