Plugging in to green technology
Liverpool Echo Environmental Awards for Innovation & Technology winner 2014, see SYMPHONY EV, has supplied Merseytravel with its first electric car, to be used as a fleet vehicle.
John Robinson, Managing Director at SYMPHONY EV, said: “Merseytravel is known for promoting sustainable transport in all its forms, so to add an electric car to its own fleet seems like a great idea. “
The 100% electric ECOSYMPH NISSAN Leaf has a driving range of 120 miles per charge, low recharge costs, no Road Tax and with zero emissions, meets the highest environmental standards.
During Liverpool’s recent Giant Spectacular, the Giants’ Puppet Masters travelled around the city in NISSAN Leafs supplied by SYMPHONY EV, who also supplied the first electric official Mayoral Car to Sefton Council. Arranged on a three year sponsorship lease agreement, the Mayoral Car seats up to five people and is even fitted with a solar panel, which powers the vehicle’s sat nav and air conditioning system.
