Have Your Say about ‘Liverpool City Region’
A coalition of local environmental groups have launched a questionnaire to gather people’s views on the future of Liverpool City Region, to be presented as a People’s Vision to Mayoral candidates ahead of the 4th May election.
Liverpool Friends of The Earth, Transition Liverpool and Merseyside Environmental Trust are calling for people to submit their views on several key issues facing the region, including food, housing, health, energy, economy and jobs.
The questionnaire is available at https://tinyurl.com/PeoplesVision
The survey builds on ideas that were generated at a major event held in Liverpool in October, which brought communities together to develop a Peoples’ Vision for a sustainable devolved Liverpool City Region .
Results of the questionnaire will be compiled in a People’s Vision and report to be presented to Mayoral candidates ahead of the election and at hustings events. Representatives of the three groups will seek a meeting with the new Mayor once in post to discuss the ideas in greater detail.
