Could you Support the Broadgreen Garden Project?

We are currently in the process of seeking funds for a shed, plants and raised beds at Broadgreen hospital. The aim of the project is to provide a therapeutic environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Macmillan Cancer Support Team at Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospitals is also involved with the project, aiming to provide a space for male patients to engage with their cancer services. We recognise the potential for further staff, departments, service users, their families and carers to utilise this space.

We are looking for volunteers and interested staff who can provide input and their ideas towards the funding bid and potentially help with the running of the gardens.

If you are interested in gardening or would like to be involved with the Broadgreen Garden Project come along to Broadgreen Hospital Foyer on Tuesday 18th July – 11 to 2pm.

For further information contact Ian Stenton, Head of Sustainability on 0151 706 3637.
